The Applied Skills level consists of six papers — LW, PM, TX, FR, AA and FM — and sits between Applied Knowledge and Strategic Professional. Most students start with PM or LW — both build on the Applied Knowledge basics without huge new technical content. TX and FR are typically tackled mid-sequence (they're the most content-heavy). AA and FM often come last, as they reward students who've already developed exam technique on earlier papers. ACCA lets you sit them in any order, but your accountancy school or employer may have a preferred sequence — check with them first.
